Reading Tabs

Way easier than playing them ;)

Reading drum tabs is pretty easy or if I have written them very easily lol. But that's because my tabbing contains no useful information. Anyway, drum tabs are pretty much like guitar tabs but easier as the drums are marked on it:

C: --------
H: --------
S: --------

The letters mark which drum it is. These can be single letters or more, but whatever it should be pretty easy to work out which one each one is. C is usually cymbal, H is Hi-Hat, t and T represent the main toms (I use T1 and T2), S is snare, F is floor tom, B is bass drum and so on.

The notation on the tablines itself varies. I use x for everything. But that's hidiously simple and missing information. Generally o is strike, 0 is accent, d is drag, g is ghost, f is flam and b is soft.
